Berry Nice Cream

1 Banana (frozen)
6-7 Strawberry 
1 cup Blueberries 
1 cup Raspberries 
1-2 cups spinach 

Top with granola, chia seeds, and amaranth and squeeze fresh lime over it. 

A few benefits of amaranth are:
Improves hair
Cardio vascular improvement 
High in calcium 
Great protein source 
Improves eye sight 
Easy to digest

Green Coconut Nice Cream

We busted open a fresh coconut and it was not only fun, but delicious! We made some Green Coconut Nice Cream with it.
2 cups spinach 
1 cup fresh coconut 
1/2 frozen bandanna 
1/2 pineapple dieced
2 oranges
1/2 cup plant milk of choice
1cups ice
Blend until smooth
Top with coconut sugar
So fun and such an amazing treat! Try it out! Blessings to you all!

Bar lettuce wraps

Bar lettuce wraps: okay so these so super super easy to make and they are so so yummy! Leaf of Romans lettuce and fill them with diced grape tomatoes, cucumbers, and break a bar of your choice into pieces and sprinkle. Squeeze lime over the top and enjoy! For this one I used @twomomsintheraw two Mom's in the Raw bar. 

Eating out: Healthy is possible

There are healthy options out there guys!  Check this deliciousness we found. Just takes breaking the routine places and finding them. One tip I would give us use the Yelp app. You can type in "Organic Cafe" "Smoothie and Juice Bars" "Vegan Restaurants" etc. of course you will still have to ask about ingredients and read, but there are more healthy options popping up for when your out. This is a little Jewel of a spot I found with my Mom the other day. If you ever visit Carlsbad, Ca. You got to give Choice Superfood Juicery and Bar a try. On a beautiful sunny day it's the spot! We ordered the PBJ bowel with fresh fruit and granola added to top. The ingredients were: banana, plant based protein, peanut butter, homemade almond milk, and I think honey. The jelly is raspberry chia jelly (it's amazing) Yum!!!! This would be a great pre-workout bowl; packed with protein. 😘 It is worth taking a few extra minutes to research a healthier option. Lastly, if the finances are your hold back try eating out less so you can eat out healthy! It's worth it; eat more plants!💚💚🍏🍒🍇🍑🍓🍎

We can all agree on Greens

So many different philosophies on eating and health, but we can all agree on GREENS!  The great thing about smoothies and fresh Juice is you can get loads of greens quick and easy! Get those God given greens in! 
And here is what was in it...
5-6 leaves of Kale 
1 celery 
1 small bunch parsley 
1 large cucumber 
1 apple 
1/2 pineapple 
Delicious! Go on and try it!

Quick N Simple Cookies

These simple and delicious cookies are my take on the recipe from last weeks challenger (which is below)! Try theM both for variety! 
2 cups oats
2 bananas mashes and  ripe (little brown spots) 
1 tbs vanilla 
Chocolate chips
Peanut butter chips
Bake 350 for 10 or so minutes.
My kids loved these. Hope you do too!

ALSO....In one of the photos from last weeks recap of the 100 day challenge there were some cookies in bottom right corner as pictures here that the recipe was requested and these will be a favorite too!

1 cup oats
1 banana smashed 
Cinnamon to taste 
Bake for 10 mins on 350 and enjoy

1/2 PURPLE cabbage 
2 PURPLE carrots 
2 apples 
1 lime 
1in ginger

Valentine's Love

Here is a little tradition and fun...

   
We have a fun little tradition that the kids love for Valentines. 

This cute little mail box makes it's way to our counter from Feburary 1st until the 14th. Each morning the kids wake up and frantically open their mail to discover "their little love gift of the day!"  

A simple fun reminder of the love we have for each other and that God has for us! 

It's the little ways we enjoy the life God has given us and pass it on as a gift of love!  I am so thankful for the way the Lord has shown me His love for me in the little ways that assures me and brings joy!

Week 4 Unchained 100 day challenge

We are done with week 4.  Some plant based challengers, some raw, but we are one in spirit and truth. 

Overall this has been a great experience thus far. The accountability and encouragement within the group has been inspiring. The progress continues to grow, and I am blessed to be apart of it. 

This week for me personally I feel good, but my change is different then others in the group. Due to stress and some unexpected trials in my own life I am coming from a state of unhealthy weight loss (muscle loss, and trying to retain strength and eating consistently to replenish my body and mind while feeding it life giving foods. This has been a total mental and emotional perspective switch. Trusting the process is difficult. It's been 4 weeks, and I know I am making progress because I am eating more and feeling myself get a little stronger, but it is hard not to want results right away. This is where I have to continue to submit it to the Lord, trust the process, and believe who I am in Christ. Not as easy as it sounds, but definitely teaching me much about my daily need for the Lord. 

He remains faithful. Even when fail He is faithful! 

It is my desire to see if the Raw eating will help me gain the health for my whole body I am desiring. It's a little scary for me to trust a process I am not use to, but only time will tell if this will be a good path for my body. So far I have seen...
*improvement in my skin
* improvement in clarity of the mind
*energy improved
*better sleep
*maintaining weight while eating enough

I am enjoying the challenge, although there have been moments that I have been discouraged with not seeing all the results I want right away. It takes time... like anything else it takes time. 

Such a great experience overall so far. Realizing my need for the Savior and His wisdom even in this. Please continue to lift us all up in prayer when you think of it.

True Love Juice

Happy February to you all! The month of love! Lately I have been praying and asking God to allow me to fill His unending love. It is amazing how he answers prayer. While all of us have a God shaped hole in our hearts it is at this deepest level that only God can satisfy that deep deep desire for love and intimacy.  We all have things and people in our life that we love dearly and deeply, but all of those and all the wealth health fame and other beautiful things in life can never ever truly fulfill us the way that God does! It's amazing to me how he sacrificially gave all so that we would have a chance to choose Him and let Him fill that deep longing. This month I want to challenge you to start your day in Gods word. Even if it's a verse in the morning and taking time to meditate on it, and ask the Lord to deepen your love relationship with Him. Watch out because He is so good and loving and can't wait to lavish His love! Lately as I have prayed this the Lord has reminded me of His pursuing, protective, provision, defending, gracious, kind, gentle,  compassionate, patient, and unconditional love! Wow! It has been humbling, but I am love in all and so grateful for his sacrifice that I might be redeemed, restore, set free, and love!
