Green Apple Juice

I am so excited to share with you guys my past weekend and some amazing tips on juicing and blending. But for now I want to encourage you to make it a habit to get one smoothie or juice and your day! It will make a difference!
Today I made this Green Apple Juice for us. It consists of...
2 Gala apples
1 head of romaine lettuce
4 small cucumbers
2 stocks of celery
1 pair
1 lemon.
We talked ours with Hemp and Chia seeds.

This combination was refreshing, sweet, a little zany, and enjoyable!

Give it a try and whatever you do make it a habit to get one green drink in a day!

T25 week 5: Alpha Round

This is the last week of the Alpha around! It was so good and I felt a lot stronger than week three and four! Especially after being able to incorporate more food after the juice fast.

I appreciate how T25 changes up the order of workouts each week! It keeps it fresh and keep your body guessing!

I did all of the workouts, and I am really looking forward to the next round!

Thanks for hanging in there with me!

T 25 Week 3 & 4: Alpha Round

Week 3:
So this week was a lot more difficult than prior weeks. I know it largely has to do with the fact that I was on a juice fast. Especially the first three days of the juice that I was extremely low on energy, and definitely would not recommend doing this work out with any kind of strenuous diet. I had not thought about that before I started.

There were a few days during the week that I did fill higher energy and the workouts were doable, but it was definitely hit and miss during the juice fast. This week I also played soccer and was surprised how much energy I had on that particular day with doing T 25 and juice fasting.

Overall I definitely am still enjoying the work out, but I think I would have gotten much more out of week three had I not been detoxing.

Week 4:
This week was much much better than last week! It did start off a little slow as Monday I was just starting to get back into the swing of things with regular eating. By the middle of the week I felt stronger again and was really enjoying each day of the workout.

These past four weeks have gone really quickly! Only one more before moving onto the next stage of T 25.

I love that these workouts give you NO way around or to excuse why you can't do them. It's only 25 minutes! We can all squeeze in a workout in 25 minutes! That has been key in staying consistent!

I definitely would recommend this work out and week for feels great! See a lot more tone in my body, and I am feeling stronger overall! Looking forward to having five weeks behind me!

If you're looking for a quick workout this is a great option!

Day 10: Juice Fast

Breakfast: For Breakfast this Morning I had me some Bock Choy
 (sorry I forgot my "c" in the picture :), kale and orange juice! It was yummy.
Lunch: Carrots, kale, cucumber, spinach.
Snack: same as dinner
Dinner: Tonight I guzzled some apple, kale, zucchini, lemon, and orange juice which was suprisingly really good! It was a little zesty, but really good!
Snacks: My snack was Cantaloupe Spinach, and Cucumber
How I am feeling: today I am feeling really good! I cannot believe this is the end of the journey for this juice fast! It's kinda bitter sweet to be honest! I mean I am looking forward to being done, but at the same time I have really LOVED my experience and all the amazing nuggets the Lord has given me through this journey.

Prayer Focus
Praying for my dad
For our marriage group tonight
For self-control in my actions and attitudes

Motivation
Knowing that I made it!
Seeing family
Nutrition class this weekend
Time with Jesus today
The friend at Re-Engaged

Closing thoughts:

For me this fast was so revitalizing in so many ways, and I can compare it to revival or a camp type of feeling. In my teen years I went to came each summer with others my age to learn and grow in the Lord. Each summer I looked forward to it for the social, spiritual, and emotional encouragement I would gain, and I always came back changed!

It was not my thought or focus when I began this fast 10 days ago. My focus was purely health, to detoxify and clean my body. However, the amazing part about knowing Jesus is He NEVER compartmentalizes life! He is in everything, and even in this Juice fast! I am so thankful that what I thought would just be a healthy action for my body ended being a healthy action of whole being! God is so amazing and personal!

Throughout this experience there were days when it reminded me of training for a marathon. You start out doing it for one reason, you train, sometimes question your sanity, but you keep training until you get over those humps, and then all of the sudden you see the finish line and you have a boost of energy and emotion because every hard day and battle of the mind was worth it. Victory! It's a satisfying taste!

I am in awe of the last 10 days and feel so blessed that I did it; yet, not in my own strength, but in Him! I can do all things through CHRIST who strengthens me! Philippians 4:13

Thank you to all you who followed along, and to those who prayed for me and encouraged me in the 10 days of growth! If you are interested in a Juice fast I would love to help coach you through one.

Day 9: Juice Fast

Breakfast: today for breakfast I had a cantaloupe spinach and cucumber gym. It was so refreshing and delicious! Some reason I have found that I like something in the morning:)!
Lunch: Carrot Cucumber Combo
Snack: Evolution juice
Dinner:

How I am feeling: today I am feeling really good as the last few days! We had a celebration for our sweet friends who adopted three beautiful girls today. It was so inspiring and I am so grateful for the way God is opening my eyes to appreciate life and the daily blessings he gives us!

During the party there was a lot of food, and I did find myself near the and desiring some of it but again I did not feel deprived because I could not have it. It was so I was completely content knowing that my commitment was worth the effort, and that I would be able to eat again.

It is amazing how God is giving me insight and opening my eyes to how much perspective and a heart of gratitude to him makes a huge difference!
Realizing that there's so much more to life than food. I know that sounds silly, but so many of us if we stop and take the time to think about our concerns with eating and food! It's the culture that we live in, but it's also the way we choose to focus on it. My husband once heard a quote that said, "what you give attention to give power to."

I always believe this quote, but through this fast God is revealing more and more how much we give attention and focus to the food instead of really enjoying the environment or the people around us. Of course we all need to eat, and that's not to say we can't enjoy eating!

Prayer Focus:
My children's relationship with each other and God
My dad's healing and pain
God to reveal and change me in areas he needs to

Motivation today:
Celebrating an amazing adoption
Encourage through my time with Jesus
Knowing that I am only 1 days away from completing a goal!

Monday, March 24, 2014

Day 8: Juice Fast

BREAKFAST: This morning I had the watermelon spinach splash for breakfast! It is so refreshing to wake up and drink this in the morning. I am loving it!
LUNCH & DINNER : Yesterday I made some more juice,
and created Green Bean Dream.
 I have to say that I loved this juice!
Snack: 3 cups of each juice from breakfast and lunch.

How I'm feeling: Today I'm feeling good and enjoying another day of juicing! Although I feel great, and I am not craving food, I did feel really low on energy today when I did my workout. I think it might just be that the workout is too intense for a juice fast time period. I would definitely recommend doing something low impact like walking, yoga, or other nonweightbearing activities.
Overall today is going really well.

Prayer focus today:
For my husband
My dad's health and healing
Health class and safe flight
Close friends

Motivation today:
Exercise
Preparing for health speaking conference
The beauty in the sunshine today!

And the end of day 8 is complete. Crazy, because I am starting to feel sad about this being over. It's like I would like to continue it longer, but I know I can't survive on Juice alone…. or could I;)! Seriously, God is teaching me so much and I feel blessed to have had this time to clean by body and focus my heart and soul!

Green Bean Dream

This morning I made this combo for juice and it was delicious!

Day 5: Juice Cleanse

It's Day 5! WOW! Can't believe it! I am so excited with each passing day! This is a journey, and I am so enthused for the many insights I am gaining and how God is stretching me.
This is a quick view of what I had for
Snack: Mean Green
Dinner: Carrots, Kale, Orange, Lemon
SNACK: After dinner I had a Evolution Coconut Pineapple Water that was amazing!

Prayer focus today:
* My Dad's Pain after the accident
*Wisdom as I prepare for a health class

* Spending time with friends
* Playing soccer

Quick Notes:
* Drinking tons of water in-between juices
* More satisfied today, and gaining strength
* Drank double the amount of juice from yesterday
* I am feeling more energy and no headaches today
* No More body Aches
* Soaked in the Bath with essential oils
* No bowl movement today, but lots of visits to the bathroom
* Played 2 soccer games today, and my energy was pretty good; praise Jesus
* I had really bad cottonmouth after playing soccer and still fighting it tonight
*Realizing how so much of what we do is centered around food
* Realizing that every choice I make to put food into my body effects my mind, body, and can effect my soul
* Finding other activities, conversations, or avenues to spend time on rather then food. I am loving the inspiration and way the Lord is opening my eyes even more to life.

How I am feeling:
I made dinner for the family tonight, but I drank a big glass of juice while I made it. Although it smelled delicious I was actually not upset or feeling deprived. Don't get me wrong, I wanted to enjoy it, but I was okay with not eating it too! That sounds unreal, but it I truly was satisfied. I believe there is something to be said about the longer you do something healthy and beneficial the better your mind and body get at it. They say it takes two weeks to form a new habit, however, I am realizing that everyday is a day closer and stronger to your goal! That has been my focus!

Every time I think about wanting to eat, I think about how far I have come in the fast and that I don't want to have to start over or ruin it with one weak moment! Also, I remind myself that every day is a day closer to my goal, and each day that goes by I am able to gain inspiration that I have come this far, so I can keep going!

And you all know that I pray! In my moments of wanting to quit I pray for God's strength, I pray for others, I pray for anything, and it takes my mind off of me and food and gets me through! This has really helps get me through!

Today was a great day overall! I felt clear minded, light and energized! Thankful for day 5 and all God is teaching me through this fast!

Day 4: Juice Cleanse

Hey! Hey! Day 4 here! Yes! Praise God I made it over hump day!
Today I made all of this juice with the stuff I purchased last night.
I made Joe's mean Green juice from his book Reboot with Joe: I'm not a huge fan of it, but I was able to get it down. I am realizing that I really don't like ginger! So I'm trying to introduce a little at a time, and pray God changes my pallet for it. I know it has major health benefits!  The picture below is a glass of mean Green that I had for breakfast!
SNACK: Between breakfast and lunch I had 2 juices, from yesterday, each about 4 to 6 ounces.

LUNCH: For lunch I had been green mixed with some carrot juice. I really don't love the mean Green, and I know it's because of the ginger. I'm going to try a lot less ginger the next time I make the mean Green. But adding carrots to it really helped me enjoy it!
DINNER: For dinner last night I made another quick juice in addition to what I had made earlier today. I needed a change from the mean green:), and the change was great and delicious!
SNACK: After dinner I had another big glass of juice before bed and I am drinking tons and tons of water!!

Quick Notes:
* Drinking tons of water in-between juices
* More satisfied today, and gaining strength
* Doubled My water and Juice intake today
* I am feeling more energy and less headaches, but still a lingering headache
* Soaked in the bath with some essential oils and read my new Reboot with Joe book so relaxing
* No bowl movement today, but lots of visits to the bathroom.
* 3:30 to 6:30 is the hardest time of the day for me!
* I want to eat, but knowing that the benefits are worth it!
* T25 Workout

How I am feeling:
The hardest part of my day today was making dinner for my family. I mean something that I really enjoy eating, in the smell alone was difficult for me.

Prayer focus today:
* My Dad's Pain after the accident
*Wisdom as I prepare for a health class
* God's Peace
* Family protection
* Travel Protection

Motivation Today:
* Prayer and time in God's word
* Focusing on people vs food
* Laughing with my kids
* Playing soccer tomorrow!

Each day seems to be getting a little stronger mentally, and I am surprised at how your body can have energy and function with Juice. It's not that I didn't believe it; it's just that I am in awe of the way God has designed our bodies!  Thankful for the end of day 4 is complete; Thank you Lord!

Mean Green & Mean Green with Carrots

Today I made the Mean Green Juice from Joe's book. I was not a huge fan of it, although as the days go on I am getting more use to it, but the first day I had to plug my nose to drink it, so I added 10 carrots to the remaining few jars and it helped me enjoy it more. In the future I know to cut out the ginger. :) Or at least cut in half until I gain a liking to it!  Here are the Recipes
Joe's Mean green Juice:
16 Kale Leaves
2 Cucumbers
8 Celery Sticks
4 Apples
1 Lemon
2 inch piece of ginger

Mean Green + Carrots
16 Kale Leaves
2 Cucumbers
8 Celery Sticks
4 Apples
1 Lemon
2 inch piece of ginger
10 Carrots

Juice Fast: Reloading

Reloading up on veggies for the next few days of Juicing.
This was the next group of vegetables that I purchased from the store to juice. I have to say that going to the produce section was strangely invigorating! It as like I was so excited to go look at my options of "food" Juice and look forward to drinking it down. I was loving it, and couldn't wait to make some more juice combinations. My trip totaled $17.56. I didn't think that was bad considering I got a 5.00 Kambuchu drink and the veggies are organic. I figure if I am going to juice I want to make sure there are no chemicals or GMO's in the food that is going straight into my system. The whole point is to detox and cleanse; right!

Well, I am thankful for the find of this great produce. Now it's time to juice it up!

Day 3: Juice Fast

DAY 3: Today is day three of my juice fast. After last night meeting Joe Cross in person, I feel motivated and blessed to have had the opportunity in the beginning of the juice fast with such inspiration from him and many who have also completed this great adventure for your body!

This morning I woke up and started my day with warm lemon water and some time in God's Word! Nothing like it! Food for your soul is the best food of all!

About a half hour later I drank a small glass of this...
Breakfast: about 4 oz

3 Oranges
3 handfuls Spinach
1 Zucchini
3 Asparagus
This gave me one large mason jar full. Aprox 16 oz

***To be honest it was a little hard to get down this morning. I didn't love the combination but I was able to get it down. I plugged my nose and gulped. Not ideal= I won't make this again!

Lunch: I was at a field trip with my son and grabbed this for lunch: carrots, apples, limes...organic and cold pressed, no added sugars, pure veggie and fruit juice, no preservatives = food for my bod!:)

Because I was gone longer then expected, I was exhausted and tired when I returned home. I had a quick glass of water, rubbed some essential oils on my head, and laid down for a quick rest with my sweet girl. It was exactly what I needed, even though I wish it was longer! When I woke I was hungry.

My afternoon Snack was 3 cups of this JUICE
3 Oranges
5 handfuls Spinach
1 Zucchini

Dinner: Carrot Zucchini combo from Day 1.

How I'm feeling:
This morning I felt pretty good, but I do have a little bit of a lingering headache. It was hard to sleep last night,  because of body aches, but my energy level is pretty good this morning considering the lack of sleep.

After the day out and about I felt tired.  I am not feeling too hungry, but my body is aching. Today it's my lower back. Yesterday it was my legs.

Tonight we have Marriage group so I will have a big glass of juice for dinner and probably more when I get home. I also need to go shopping because my produce is almost completely gone! Which is fun to think that almost all that I have consumed is God's amazing way of helping my body detox,
re-boot and crave the "life giving" foods!

Overall a okay day! I am starting to master the art of getting away from food when I start getting really drawn to it. Each time that happens I spend a few minutes in prayer. That has been KEY for me! It's amazing how when I stop and pray the hunger for food subsides, and I am refocused on how thankful I am for the life God has given me and the ability to choose to fast. I am richly blessed!

After church I thought I would be so hungry, but I wasn't!

Quick Facts today:
* Today does feel like a hump day
* Feeling cold even more then normal
* Body isn't aching as much; but it is still achy
* Feeling lighter today
* Know that when I get hungry I need water or more Juice
* Drinking lots of water helps
* Using Peppermint essential oils for my head ache which helps
* Peeing a ton; which I know is good!
* Bowel movement= loose (funny side note: Last night when we heard Joe speak one of the things he said is, "Don't trust a cough while juicing." Everyone cracked up laughing, but your bowels will be loose, especially the 1st day.
*No time to workout today
* Try to go to bed earlier then normal just to help forget about my horrible headache.

Prayer focus today:
*My Dad's health and healing from the motorcycle accident
* My Marriage and other marriages in our accountability marriage group
* Direction on teaching for a co-op homeschool group

AND the end of Day 3 is COMPLETE!

Zucchini Carrot Combo

10 Carrots
2 Zucchini

This is a great start to the morning or a pick me up in the afternoon! Juicing is such a great way to add multiple veggies and fruits into your body! The micro nutrients that we all thrive on!

Eat More Plants!

Day 2: Juicing

DAY 2:   Today was a little better in the morning! I asked two friends to pray for me and I feel a great difference! It's amazing how when you fast and add the discipline of prayer it makes all the difference!

Meeting Joe was such a great inspiration and experience overall! And I couldn't have asked for at a better time with this being day two of my juice fast. What a HUGE MOTIVATION! He was such a great speaker! Funny, informative, motivating, and personal! I enjoyed learning and hearing all the amazing stories of others in the room who completed a juice fast for health, weight-loss, disease and cleansing!  One of my favorite quotes of the night was, "It's not about the KNOWING…it's about the DOING." I will do a post soon to fill you in on more!

I even got a quick workout in although it was only 25 minutes it felt really good and I had a good amount of energy through it! Day 1: Juice Fast

This is the start, DAY 1, of my Juice Fast. The reason behind my juice fasting is to cleanse, reboot, and refocus my body. This is my second Juice fast after watching Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead Documentary. This time the decision came after thinking and sharing with my husband and a close friend about my desire to do another cleanse that would help my body be rid of toxins and fee free.

While I was preparing for the cleanse I realized that it wasn't going to be just about my physical body. Going on a all Juice fast is a great way to reboot and refocus your health, but it also is a great way to also refocus your mind and soul ! Fasting is such a powerful tool that really does bring the ability to clean out and refocus the body, mind, and soul!  Initially this cleanse started with a health focus, but you can't just compartmentalize your life! Everything you do effects ALL of you!

With that said,  during this juice fast I have committed to rise early and read the Bible. I will also pray each time I get hungry, or desire food. My prayers will focus on specific disciplines in my own life including thankfulness and request and needs of other friends and family.  This will not be easy, but I anticipate all the Lord will teach me and how He will bring cleansing for All of me! So if you are following along and wonder what the Prayer focus is; now you know :)! Feel free to pray along!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Day1:
This morning I woke up and I was instantly hungry. It's crazy how when you know you're going to fast with juice only it becomes a mental battle. This is where I am choosing to ask God for help. I crawled back into bed with my Bible and then headed to the kitchen for a warm cup of lemon water. No, this was not breakfast! Just a way to start detoxing while I prepare breakfast for my 4 children.
Starting out:
Today I made a batch of Juice for the next 2 or 3 days. Ideally fresh is best, but if you fill a mason jar to the top and keep it sealed tightly you can keep it in the fridge for 3 days.  So this busy mama was preparing today for the next few days. Here is one batch of what I made. I made one more batch as well, see below. Each time I made Juice I always drink a fresh LARGE glass of Juice and then Jar the rest, so this was one batch plus 1 large glass of juice! :)
10 Carrots
2 Zucchini
1 Orange
1 Lemon
3 handfuls of Mixed Greens
3 handfulls Spinach
= 2 Med. Mason Jars and 1 small Mason Jar and one 16 oz cup
Snack:
Snack consists of two 4oz cups of the juice recipes in this post.
LUNCH: Below is the 2nd batch of Juice made earlier. That way I can rotate and I don't have to drink the same kind all day!  For lunch today I had one from this recipe below, called Zucchini Carrot Combo. It was really good and helped satisfy me. Although I have am struggling with a head ache and craving food! This is not as easy as I want it to be! lol!
10 Carrots
2 Zucchini
2 Orange
1Apple
3 handfuls of Mixed Greens
= 3 Mason Jars and one 16 oz cup
Dinner:
I had the same as I had for Lunch; it was great, but I still have a huge headache
Quick Notes:
* Tired
* Hungry
* Head Ache; bad one at night
* Bowel Movement today
* I did get a 25 min workout
How I am feeling:
I feel really tired, have a pounding headache, and feel hungry! Today is definitely day 1 because I really want to eat; real food!
Prayer focus today:
*My Dad's health and healing from the motorcycle accident
* Direction and provision
Motivation Today:
* Prayer from a friend
* Getting to day 2
* Going to see Joe Cross tomorrow; Fat Sick and Nearly Dead
Today was really difficult all around but the first day is always rough! Going to bed early!  But end of day 1 is complete; Thank you Lord!
T25: Week 2
WEEK 2= DONE!
YES! WEEK 2 is done!
What I am loving about this workout is it's so doable with a busy schedule! We can all fit 25 mins in; right? Plus, if you have time to add more you can, and it's nice to change it up!
Day 1: Cardio
The cardio workout was so so good this week. I really enjoyed the intensity for 25 mins of cardio
Day 2: Total Body Circuit
I really enjoyed this workout and loved that it targeted your total body! It definitely made me feel stronger, and I enjoyed the change in exercises!
Day 3: Speed 1.0
 This was a good workout and I felt like I got a great sweat. I did not feel sore or too tired after.
Day 4: Cardio
Adding another cardio this week felt great! I enjoy cardio workouts and always feel like I have accomplished a lot after I am done.
Day 4: AB Intervals
This is a great workout for your core and abs! I plan to use this even after I complete the T25 series! It allows a focused and effective (well at least it feels effective) ab and core workout. However, on the more active side of me this would be a great day to add in some extra cardio.
Day 5: DOUBLE DAY
LOWER FUCUS & AB INTERVALS
These two workouts worked well together. Although I will say that this was easier for me then combining Cardio and Ab videos like last week
Day 6: Rest
played soccer but did rest from T25
Day 7: Stretch
Just what I needed after a long week of workout. The stretching is specific and strengthening! I would also use this video in the future for before or after a workout stretching. Great end to the week!
Overall:
This week felt great and I am still enthusiastic about the workout and look forward to doing it each day. It is a perfect fit into my crazy schedule right now. Although at times I feel I should do more,  I am choosing to live free; unchained to bondage that it's not enough, and focusing on being thankful for the ability to move!  Remembering that regardless...I am fearfully and wonderfully made! Psalm 139
The beauty of fitness is enjoying it the way God deigned our bodies to;  healthy strong, focused, and free!
In My Costco Cart
Feeding a family of 6 on any kind of budget can be tricky! Feeding a family of 6 with health in mind is even more tricky! It takes work, prayer, and time, but it's possible! One of the little tips that has helped me is finding what stores have organic products that are less expensive then other stores. Costco is one of those stores. While you do have to have a membership, I think it is worth it if you shop there weekly and feed a family. You can always go with a friend or family member who has a membership too:)! So let me show you my Costco Cart for the week!
This was my Costco cart for this week… *not organic
Organic...
Bread
Mixed deep greens
Coconut Oil
Carrots
Spinach
Strawberry
Avocados *
Chai seeds
If you can't get to local Farmers Markets, and your trying to watch your budget, or have a big family, or all of the above, Costco is worth the stop.  Costco is a great place to stock up on organic items and save money.
HIGHLIGHT: One item from my cart I want to highlight is the bread. I guy both the Sprouted Honey Wheat with Flaxseed and the Multi-Grain with Omega 2. You get two and going off memory there are about $2.70 each. You have to buy two, but it's worth it and they freeze well! They have NO oil, low sodium, whole grains, organic, and 100% Natural.  All ingredients are REAL food ingredients! It took me a while to find a bread that was both healthy and delicious, and this is a great one. We also use Ezekiel, but this bread is softer which the kids like better.
Just in case your curious here are the ingredients for the Multi-Grain Bread:
Organice Whole Grain Wheat Flour, Organice wheat flour, Organice Honey, Organic Oat Bran, Organic Oats, Organic Sund flower Seeds, Organic Flaxseed, Organic cultured Wheat, Organic Vinegar, Was Salt, Yeast.
Become a label reader! Don't trust the marketing on the front of a product! The ingredient list is always telling of what is really in your food! One trick is if you can't pronounce the ingredients look for a different product that you know what you are eating.
Whatever you decide to do; take one more step toward healthy eating this week! And if you have a product you find is healthy and delicious we would love to hear what it is! :)
T25: Week 1
WEEK 1= DONE!
YES! WEEK 1 is done!
I don't say that because I did not enjoy the workout, because I did, but because it always feels good to do something consistently! I want to share my review of T25 for week 1.
Day 1: Cardio
Day 2: Speed 1.0
 This was a good workout and I felt like I got a great sweat. I did not feel sore or too tired after. However, this day I began to question if these shorter (25 min) workouts (which are ideal for my crazy mommy world) can really give me the results that Insanity (the 45-60 min) workouts did. I began to think I might need to add in some extra weight lifting, so I am trying to work that in with my hubby 2 x's a week when possible. So far it's been doable :). Because I have been a active person for many years I felt this was safe and beneficial for me. Please know that if T25 is plenty for you and fits your schedule; do what is best for you! Do what keeps you free and strong, both spiritually and physically!
Day 3: Total Body Circuit
I really enjoyed this workout and loved that it targeted your total body! It definitely made me feel stronger, and I enjoyed the change in exercises!
Day 4: AB Intervals
This is a great workout for your core and abs! I plan to use this even after I complete the T25 series! It allows a focused and effective (well at least it feels effective) ab and core workout. However, on the more active side of me this would be a great day to add in some extra cardio.
Day 5: DOUBLE DAY
LOWER FUCUS & CARDIO
These two workouts were AWESOME together! I was extremely tired and fatigued due to little sleep from my sweet ones and typical female business, but I pushed myself to do it! I was so thankful I did!  I t was the best workout of the week, and I felt so much better after!
Day 6: Rest
I felt sore today! I know I might be crazy, but I can't be alone when I say I love the feeling of being sore after a good workout! It confirms I worked hard and my body is working for me!
Isn't God amazing how He designed our bodies to work!
Day 7: Stretch
Just what I needed after feeling sore. The stretching is specific and strengthening! I would also use this video in the future for before or after a workout stretching. Great end to the week!
Overall:
Although day two had me skeptical that I would get a good workout,  God showed me that having a 25 minute workout gets me motivated and moving! That's victory! For me, in all the busyness of  trying to have time with Jesus, my husband, children, friends, etc. On top of  cleaning and laundry, cooking, and shofering,  and all my responsibilities I can begin to get consumed in the bondage that I have to workout, or overwhelmed by my schedule and not do it at all. It's a daily surrender just like all areas of life, but God is teaching me even through this little workout series that I can be unchained and free to enjoy a workout and still have balance! T25 gives me the ability to convince myself that I have time for a 25 minute workout without overcommitting myself and missing out on important time with my God or my kids! So It's great!
 It's a great motivator and I am loving having it!
 I am living free; unchained to bondage that it's not enough, and free to add in a little more if and when I can! All the while knowing that I am blessed to be able to move and care for this temple of the Lord. Also reminding myself that no matter what...I am fearfully and wonderfully made! Psalm 139
