This recipe is actually inspired by my daughter who is five. She loves the Boba tea when we go to many of our favorite Asian restaurants in the area, so she came up with the amazing idea for a Boba Smoothie!
One day while I was making her and her siblings a smoothie she asked if she could add some frozen blueberries to her smoothie and use a big straw like we do with the Boba at the restaurant. I immediately thought that was a great idea, but realized it was brilliant after I tasted it! Here is the recipe we used. You must try this for yourself!
BLUEBERRY BOBA SMOOTHIE:
1-2 cup Frozen Blueberries
4-5 handfuls spinach
1 Small cucumber
2 tbls flax seed mill
1 cup Almond milk
2 heeping spoonfuls frozen blueberries
Mix the first 8 ingredients together in a blender. Add the two spoonfuls of frozen blueberries on top, grab a large straw and enjoy this smoothie with a Boba like texture!
